Parking on Texel: temporary information

This is a temporary information page and not the website of the municipality of Texel. The municipality's official websites, including texelvignet.nl, have been taken offline as a precaution because of vulnerabilities in PHP. You cannot buy a vignette on this page, and we never ask for personal data or payment here.
How does paid parking work?
- Paid parking applies at all paid car parks on Texel, Monday to Sunday, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
- The Texelvignet is for everyone: residents, guests and tourists.
- The vignette is linked to your licence plate. It cannot be changed after purchase.
- The vignette is valid immediately after purchase. Buy it shortly before you leave, especially if you do not yet know which car you will bring.

A week or year pass starts on the start date you choose.
Parking right now without the website
- Pay the hourly rate at the parking meter or with a parking app.
- According to the municipality, the Texelvignet can also be bought at the parking meters.
- Earlier information states that holders of a European disabled parking card do not need a vignette. Check with the municipality if you are unsure.

Check the e-mail you received at purchase to see whether it is still valid. If you cannot work it out, write to gemeentewinkel@texel.nl.
